Specification Grade Doors Are Now Available From SAS International

SAS International, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of metal ceilings, room comfort systems, architectural metalwork and partitioning, is pleased to announce that it has now added architectural specification grade doors to its portfolio of internal fit-out solutions. SAS International’s standard service doors are available in a choice of eight natural wood veneers, four Continuous Pressure Laminate (CPL) finishes and paint grade doors. Over 12,000 doors are stocked in a variety of standard sizes and can be customised within three days to meet a project’s requirements. Because they are manufactured in the UK, all SAS doors are able to be delivered within a short lead time. Among the customised options available for SAS doors are the following services:
• Door re-sizing All of SAS International’s doors are also available for specification with a number of other key considerations in mind; these include acoustic performance to 33BB and 60 minute fire resistance. As part of SAS International’s commitment to be environmentally responsible, all of their wood-based products are made from timber which is supplied from sources that comply with either the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) chain of custody, the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC) or any other source that complies with the FSC standard for Non FSC-Certified Controlled wood. SAS holds both FSC and PEFC certification and are able to provide full chain of custody upon request. All of SAS International’s CPLs are also FSC approved.
In the summer of 2008, SAS opened a new 40,000 square foot extension to its Apollo Park factory in Oldbury, West Midlands, which is wholly dedicated to the manufacture of doors for the architectural and specification markets.
